YEOLMBRIDGE Skittles Club member Rob Mill has been crowned Devon champion.

Rob recently won the Holsworthy Skittles League Individual Cup, and a result was invited to represent the league in the county finals in Bideford on Saturday, April 12, where he saw off the rest of the field.

The Holsworthy and District Skittle League season is also over.

Milton Damerel A took the Division One crown by a huge 12-point margin with Week St Mary D edging out Yeolmbridge A on away pins to take the runners-up crown after both finished on 60 points.

North Petherwin D were last on 20 points, five adrift of North Tamerton A.

The Team title went to Week St Mary C/D (113) as they edged out Kilkhampton (111) and Milton Damerel (110).

It was a Sutcombe ‘one-two’ in the second-tier.

The A team’s 53 points was enough for the title by just three from their club-mates, although they did share the Team crown.

Morwenstow A and bottom side Northlew A mustered just 13 points and 10 points respectively.
