THE community of Holsworthy are being invited to bid farewell to a long-standing staff member who is retiring after 38 years at the leisure centre.

A spokesperson for Active Torridge said: “Everyone at Active Torridge would like to invite you to join us in bidding farewell to James as he embarks on his well-deserved retirement after 38 remarkable years at Holsworthy Leisure Centre.

“To celebrate his dedication and hard work for both the centre and the Holsworthy community, we are hosting a coffee and cake gathering on September 21st between 2pm and 4pm. This will be a wonderful opportunity for everyone to say goodbye and share memories.”
