TWENTY-three members of Zero Gravity Academy competed at the South West Regional Schools Competition at the Wellsprings Leisure Centre in Taunton on Sunday, November 26, with 12 children qualifying for the Zonal Round, which will be held in January.
All of the children train with their coach Anne Dodds at the Phoenix Leisure Centre, Launceston and at their club sessions at Duchy College, Stoke Climsland.
The competition is an annual national event, which is open to any school age child to compete for their school.
The children and Anne had a fantastic day and finished with a total of 12 individual qualifiers for the Zonal Round, which is being held in Gillingham, Kent in the New Year.
This will see the children competing against other qualifiers from the South, South East and London regions.
To qualify into this round, the trampolinists had to compete two routines and achieve a top three placing.
In total, there were six firsts, five seconds and one third-placed finish.
