Representing the West Midlands at the Junior Interregional Regatta at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham, Ross-on-Wye Rowing Club's junior rowers brought home a silver and a bronze medal from this prestigious event.

Competing against the very best crews from around the country, Ross Rowing Club's juniors continued their recent run of success at the big national events by coming second in the Women's J15 coxed 4 event, and third in the Women's J16 double scull event. Remarkably, the two other Ross crews (WJ15 coxed quad of Naomi Banks-Martin, Lily Croft, Elysia Cotton, Gabby Howell, Adrienne Howell [cox], and WJ14 single scull Harley Kernot) came fourth and seventh respectively in their events, completing a hugely successful day for the squad.

The first medal came from Echo Callaghan and Scarlett Brodholt in the WJ16 2x event which is one of the most competitive events at the regatta. Stroked by Echo, who has only recently returned from a training camp with the GB rowing team, the crew came through from fifth place to take third in a barnstorming finish to an exciting final.
