PUPILS from Tregadillett CP School overcame competition in the form of entrants from St Joseph's, South Petherwin, North Petherwin, Werrington, Bridestowe, Warbstow and Lewtrenchard to win the Launceston Inter Schools Swimming Gala recently. The title is a very sought after one amongst competitors, and this year's contest was as nail-biting as ever. The winning team of Marlo Downs; Ocearna Peres, Evie Asman, Tesia Matysik, Grace Phippard and Daniel Howgill all worked together brilliantly to produce a fantastic result. A Tregadillett school spokesperson said: "Many thanks, in particular, go to mums Jo Downs, Susie Bond and Belinda Peres for their brilliant support. "Also thanks go to Tom Glendinning at the Phoenix Leisure Centre for organising this exciting event."
