THE latest round of SWPL fixtures take place tomorrow with four Post area clubs in action.
Callington Town and Launceston have tough assignments as they take on top four contenders Wendron United and Wadebridge Town respectively, while there is an intriguing battle between Holsworthy and Dobwalls, who are both punching above their weight in the top eight.
Bude Town, who have underachieved so far, welcome struggling Bodmin Town, hoping to find some consistency.
Launceston, who thrashed Bodmin Town 6-0 in their last outing 13 days ago, are showing signs of coming to the party under Neil Price, and their improvement will be put to a test against a Town side that have come into some good form, including a 2-1 victory at Wendron last weekend.
Wendron are the opposition at Callington Town this weekend with the East Cornwall side hoping to bounce back from a 6-0 reversal at St Austell.
Callington will start as underdogs, but should relish the challenge of facing the free-scoring ‘Dron.
Holsworthy won’t have played for five weeks by the time they kick-off at home to Dobwalls tomorrow.
Only time will tell whether the long break has an affect or not on the Magpies, but they will need to be at it against a Dobwalls side who continue to do well.
Bude were beaten 4-0 at Dobwalls 13 days ago, but will start as favourites against a young Bodmin side who are rebuilding under Simon Minett.
The Seasiders beat Sticker 4-2 in their last home outing, and although they concede plenty, also boast an array of attacking firepower.
Camelford, who have already played 20 of their 32 league games, have the weekend off ahead of their next game against visiting Bude Town on Friday, December 29 (7.30pm).
