Spirit of Monmouth runners take a earn podium finishes in the Whitebrook Wind-Up.

In the women's 10K Nerys Chaplin placed an impressive second and Martin Blakebrough took third place Veteran Male.

Stephen Barratt and Phil Griffiths also ran in the 5th annual Whitebrook Wind-Up on Sunday, June 7th for the club.

The ten kilometre race started with a short hill, before the scenic course took runners down along the bank of the River Wye.

The course then turned at Redbrook climbing through the woodland on the notorious 600 ft 'Wind-Up' .

Neither Chaplin nor Blakebrough were fazed by the climb as they raced into podium positions.
