THE annual Holsworthy and District Ladies’ Skittles League presentation dinner was held on Friday, April 26 at Holsworthy Golf Club.

The winner of the Individual Knockout Cup was Liz Fisher representing St Giles A. 

The league is hard-fought and for Liz to win is an achievement for the club, while the cup was presented by Bernadette Sluggett on behalf of the league committee. 

Liz will represent the Holsworthy and District League in a tournament to be held at the Boots and Laces Sports Bar at Torquay United Football Club this Saturday (May 18) at 3pm.

St Giles on the Heath is one of a few clubs that have a dedicated skittle alley and is used by both men and ladies who currently have two teams each. The ladies joined the league in 1965.

Both ladies and men’s teams always welcome new members.
