WEEK ST Mary’s John Sandercock was the winner of Launceston and North Cornwall Motor Club’s testing trial at Cannaframe Farm, Trewint on Sunday, August 11.
A total entry of six cars, three bikes and two combinations tackled three rounds of six sections in the morning before two more rounds of six sections were attempted after lunch.
The first car over the line as well as being the trophy winner was John Sandercock (pictured above) with Darren Ruby second and Rex Ward, third.
Steve Urell came out as overall winner on 2or3 wheels, the ‘Junior’ champion was Zak Ruby with Ashley Ruby being the ‘Novice’ winner.
Club spokesperson, Nigel Cowling, said: “Competition was close and fierce all day. A big thank you to all who took part, and to all the marshals.
“The next event is the David Ayers Sporting Trial on September 15, which is part of the BTRDA Championship, and is held on the grounds of the Camelford show site at Marshgate by kind permission of the Langley family.”
