EXETER University ensured the South West One title race will go down to the last round of games with a 36-20 win against the Cornish All Blacks on Saturday.
A good contingent of Launceston supporters travelled to the Topsham Road ground for the game.
The All Blacks were tough opponents for the Exeter side.
They were well drilled and their scrum was exemplary.
The score was 15-all at the break.
However, the Exeter University side had more possession of the ball and used it to their advantage in the final 40 minutes.
Max Himbury was Exeter University’s nam of the match with three tries.
His hat-trick score was run in from 80 metres out.
Dom Thorne had two tries for Exeter, one either side of half time.
Ryan Westren scored the tries for the All Blacks, with Ben Hawke kicking one conversion and a penalty.
This Saturday sees the All Blacks’ final game of the season, at home, to Keynsham, 3pm kick off.
