AFTER the drubbing they received the previous week against promotion chasing North Petherton, the question was "could Bude respond positively against mid-table Wellington at Bencoolen Meadow last Saturday". The answer was a most emphatic "yes". In probably their best performance of the season so far, they dominated from the first whistle to the last and thoroughly deserved their five point victory, claiming a try scoring bonus point, with their fourth and final try five minutes from time and keeping their line intact throughout, writes Paul Cottle.
