SATURDAY'S action in the Premier West division of the South West Peninsula League was a mixed affair for Post area clubs with only Launceston enjoying victory.
The Clarets thrashed Bodmin Town 6-0 at Pennygillam for their first home win since March.
Neil Price's side led 1-0 at the break through Mike Steele's ninth minute free-kick, and it took a brilliant save from Lewis Slade to prevent an equaliser soon after.
However, once Mark Elvidge made it 2-0 on 53 minutes, the goals flowed with Steele, Lewis Young (2) and Elvidge again on the scoresheet.
Camelford visited Wadebridge Town for the River Camel derby, but despite more than matching their hosts for long spells, were beaten 3-0 at Bodieve Park.
They fell behind in the 28th minute through Jacob Rowe, and conceded twice in the dying stages of each half, striker Matt Lloyd getting both.
Bude Town were made to pay for a plethora of missed chances as they went down 4-0 at Dobwalls.
The Seasiders trailed at the break through Cam Patterson's goal, before Joe Cook, Gary Hird and Josh Johnson added the rest after the break.
With Holsworthy having the weekend off, Callington Town were the only other Post area side in action, and they drew 2-2 at Penzance courtesy of Henry Bunning's brace, the second of which came six minutes from time.
