IT was a mixed weekend for the senior teams at Bude Hockey Club.

The men visited Bodmin Seconds and came away with a convincing 7-1 victory in Men’s Piran Division One of the West Hockey League, helped by a quadruple from Charles Walker.

The ladies had a rare Sunday outing at Devonport Services, but despite an excellent performance against the league leaders, were undone 2-1 in Women’s Division Two South.
