It was a mixed weekend for local crews who ventured South for last weekend's Somerset Stages. The Minehead based event attracted 165 crews for round three of the BTRDA series, offering 45 miles of competitive action, including two runs up the famous Porlock Toll road. Alex Allingham, with Ross Weir alongside, took top local honours bringing the Weir Laundry Equipment Subaru Impreza home 10th overall and 3rd in class after a consistent run, the first time the duo have rallied together. A spin on the first run up Porlock dropped ten seconds but from then on consistent top ten times brought its rewards.
Ross-on-Wye duo Gary Bollands and Russ Joseph in the GB Motorservice's Subaru took 49th and 15th in class.
