FALMOUTH Running Club hosted the 36th annual Mob Match on Sunday, November 24 with three Launceston Road Runners taking part.

The five-mile road race takes in the magnificent Pendennis Headland, along Falmouth's iconic seafront - passing the renowned Gyllyngvase and Swanpool beaches - before returning to the race headquarters, the Falmouth Hotel.

Following the race there was the presentation of trophies to winning teams in conjunction with awards to individuals who have completed eight or more races in the Cornish Grand Prix Series.

Mob Match results: Ian Grimes – 45:52 (third in M7074 age group); Janet Lathom – 50.34 (second in M65-69); John Barnes – 54:44.

As well as Lavinia Marshall (F70-74) and Claire Winfield (F55-59) who were both second in their respective age group, Launceston Road Runners – Emma James, Kevin Marshall, Eddie Thomson, John Barnes and Martin Venning – completed the required eight races.

The 2025 Cornish Grand Prix Series starts with the Storm Force 10 in Camborne on January 19.
