LAUNCESTON Rugby Club have confirmed their senior captains for the 2024/25 season which gets underway in September.
The first team - better known as the Cornish All Blacks - will look to improve on last year’s fifth-placed finish in Regional One South West which is at Step Five of the national system.
Tom Sandercock goes into his second season leading out the side when they get underway on September 7 against old foes Brixham.
The seconds - better known as the Castles - will look to get promoted out of Counties Three Cornwall at the third time of asking - and once again versatile forward Ollie Martin will lead the side.
Prop Mel Ruby is unsurprisingly carrying on as the ladies captain as they prepare for life after promotion up to Women’s NC 1 South West (West), while Luke Howe has been appointed as Colts captain for their season which sees games against a host of Cornish clubs.
