LAUNCESTON sailing star Saskia Sills will be laying down the gauntlet to Britain's top sailors as she bids to land gold at the 2013 RYA Youth National Championships over the Easter break.
Around 350 of the country's finest Youth dinghy racers and windsurfers will converge on the West Coast of Scotland from next Monday for five days to do battle at what is regarded as Britain's premier annual Youth sail racing event.
Sixteen-year-old Sills, who won the event and selection for RYA Volvo Team GBR on her debut last year and who then went on to win gold at the ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships in Dublin, will be looking to replicate that success as the Tavistock College school student goes for gold for a second consecutive year.
