For nine decades, the game has been played by the village kids to adults. The original playing field in the centre of Kilgetty is now home to the modern Stepaside CP School.

Many tales of the game, and players, have been echoed throughout the 90 years.

Non more so than 'Ted the Stores' boy, George. George Edwards played amateur football before turning professional in 1944, with Birmingham City. Playing for Cardiff City, here he stayed and became a director of the club. The famous left winger went on to win a dozen Welsh senior caps in his time.

The Kilgetty club are proud of George's achievements, while he was proud of his roots, and carried on his support of the club.

The 90th celebrations were extended to the Liberty Stadium, where club chaplin Kevin John welcomed the Kilgetty junior section to the home of Swansea City.

Kevin praised the Kilgetty club on their lengthy achievements. The juniors were announced to the stadium, and formed a guard of honour for the Swans and Everton, before the game.

Kevin John congratulated the juniors for a job well done, and instructed them to carry on the good work for another 90 years.
