LISKEARD Athletic skipper Max Gilbert has had the red card he picked up in the South West Peninsula League Premier West match at Wadebridge Town 10 days ago rescinded.

The Blues appealed against the decision, and it was upheld, with video evidence showing Gilbert did not commit an offence.

Gilbert was given a three-match ban by the Cornwall FA, but he is now free to play with immediate effect.
