HOLSWORTHY?under18s missed out on a league and cup double following a 2-0 defeat to Exwick Villa in the Devon County Under 18 Youth League Cup final at the Devon FA?headquarters at Coach Road, Newton Abbot on Tuesday, May 24.

The Magpies however enjoyed a brilliant season, winning the North section of the Devon County Under 18 Youth League, amassing 33 points from a possible 36.

Against South section winners Alphington in the final, played on May 17, they were unfortuntately edged out 1-0 but showed remarkable consistency to reach three finals and were perhaps unlucky not to go one step or possibly even two steps further.
