HOLSWORTHY rounded off their first campaign back in the North Devon League Premier Division with a disappointing 4-2 defeat at mid-table Landkey Town on Wednesday night.
The Magpies headed north looking to finish as high as sixth, but they ended ninth in the 11-team division with 24 points from their 20 games.
Goals came from Mark Horn and Rob Pearce.
Holsworthy are back in action on Sunday when they round off their campaign with the Launceston Cup final against Lifton at Launceston AFC (6.15pm).
It will be the first ever all Devon final in the competition’s long history.

It’s been a steady season for the villagers who will finish fourth if they avoid defeat at Kingsley Wizards on Saturday. They also reached the League Cup final, losing to Shamwickshire Rovers Reserves.
A victory for the Wizards would leapfrog them into fourth.
