AN estate agents from Launceston seized the opportunity to showcase what the Westcountry property market has to offer at a recent exhibition in London.

The Experts in Property held its Westcountry Property Exhibition in London, at the historic Mitre Hotel on the banks of the River Thames, just across the road from Hampton Court Palace.

The exhibition was attended by Martin Deacon and Will Inman, directors of member agency View Property, which has offices in Launceston and Tavistock.

The exhibitions, held regularly in the capital, provide a great platform for member agents to showcase their properties to the London and Southeast market, which is often a hotbed for buyers looking to relocate to the Southwest.

Martin said: “The exhibitions are part of an excellent, proactive marketing approach, taking properties directly to the heart of a key area in the property market. The location of The Mitre was perfect in the sense of being on the edge of the city with a mainline train station.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to London - talking to potential buyers about their wants and needs, and discussing the different parts of our region and what they offer is always one of our favourite subjects!”
