Students from Windmill Hill Academy took part in one of the most anticipated events of the year, entering their walking group into this year’s Launceston Carnival. 

Children, parents and staff all took to the streets to present their theme ‘At Windmill Hill Academy, we aspire to be...’ 

The group saw police officers – even with their own dog unit – doctors, nurses, singers, beekeepers, mechanics and even a DJ. 

The group did brilliantly, coming second in the Children’s Walking Group category.
