MYSTERY has surrounded the death of 18-year-old Charlotte Dymond on Bodmin Moor in 1844 ever since the day her body was discovered near Roughtor Ford.

Despite farm labourer Matthew Weeks being found guilty of the murder not long after, and hanged at Bodmin Jail (Gaol), there have long since been variances between the views of those who have studied the case.
