OKSIGEN Theatre very proudly presented Pinocchio over the weekend in Launceston Town Hall.
The cast and crew yet again worked incredibly hard to produce such a fantastic and appreciated high level show.
Director Oksana Wroath, who is an ex professional Russian stage actress, along with her committee Michael Drynan (Gipetto), Liz Eagle, Louise Asprey and the rest of the production team and cast, worked relentlessly over the past three months on every tiny detail to ensure success and enjoyment for all.
They said: “The dedication, commitment, professionalism, energy and willingness to do well and work as a team has been overwhelming from our students. We look forward to classes resuming in January along with the LAMDA solo acting exam prep classes. We would like to thank everyone involved, including the wonderful full audiences for their attendance, support and appreciation and the Launceston Town Hall for accommodating us so well through the year and during our shows.”
A review by Bright Margins read: “A wonderful, vibrant and accomplished performance by the talented cast and crew of ‘Pinocchio’ by Oksigen Theatre at the Town Hall.
“Delightful young people who really brought a sense of flair and dedicated joy to the stage with lovely voices and tremendous panache. The show is funny, energetic and luminous with upbeat songs and costumes to match. Bravo!”
