A BERNESE Mountain dog from Tintagel has been a star at this year’s Crufts, picking up an accolade amongst more than 200 other dogs from this breed.
Jesterbrock Alpine Storm — well known to his peers as Gibbs — is a two-year-old Bernese Mountain dog. He qualified for Crufts at the Crufts 2017 competition, winning a second in junior dog.
This year, Gibbs was competing with the more mature dogs from all corners of the world, and gained a third prize out of over 200 Bernese Mountain dogs, qualifying again for Crufts 2019.
Gibbs is only occasionally shown at championship level due to the locations of the shows. He is foremost a pet and companion, so winning a place at this prestigious show for two years running is a great achievement!
