EASTER Monday and by a happy coincidence the birthday of The Queen saw the unveiling of two impressive jubilee stones that now welcome people entering St Teath. The stones, quarried at Delabole Slate Quarry, are inscribed as a memorial to the Queen's Jubilee in 2012. The long and complex process of sourcing, siting and fixing these stones started after a hugely successful street party was held in the village to celebrate the occasion. For the full report, and a round-up of the local news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
