AS voters casted their all-important votes in today's general and local elections, postal voting plans didn't go quite so smoothly for some electors in the town.

National, district council and town and parish elections in East Hampshire made it the biggest in East Hampshire District Council?history.

With postal ballot papers sent out separately, residents received parliamentary and district ballot papers in different packs – but by last Friday there was still no sign of the town council ballot papers.
