PUMPING appliances from Launceston and Bodmin responded to a vehicle fire in St Clether, Launceston, today (September 22) at around 1.16pm. On arrival a fire involving a car and trailer was discovered. A Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson confirmed: "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus sets used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. "The cause has been classed as accidental."
