The pupils and staff of Coads Green Primary School were delighted to welcome Noah Okello to their school recently. The visit was arranged through involvement with the 'Food for Thought' project which has been running for two years in Cornwall. Last October funding from the British Council allowed Caroline Whitley, a member of staff at Coads Green, to travel to Uganda and visit Agola Primary School where Noah is Headteacher. Noah will be visiting lots of different areas of Cornwall during his two week stay here. "This is an incredible opportunity for our pupils to learn about life in Uganda and to strengthen the existing link between our two schools," said Claire Tomkies, Headteacher at Coads Green Primary School. Mr Okello, who is a school head in Uganda, spent five days at the school.
