With great delight, all 21 churches from across the Trigg Major Deanery, a huge area which stretches from St Giles-on-the-Heath in Devon to Bolventor, up to Davidstow and down to Lezant, joined together on Sunday, July 30, for the annual united service.
Led by Rev Antony Naylor and Rev Jess Lancaster, the two newest self-supporting priests, more than 70 Christians in attendance enjoyed singing to the roof tops with music provided by Edward Lancaster on the organ.
Rev Lancaster said: “After the service, the bountiful generosity of regular members of the Lezant congregation meant everyone enjoyed a good selection of cakes, tea and coffee whilst chatting together for almost an hour. Huge thanks to everyone who took part to make this a really special celebration – we’re looking forward to the next one already!”
