LAUNCESTON Young Farmer’s Club (YFC) a superb day at the Cornwall YFC Competitions Day on Saturday, May 20.

Such was their success, the men’s tug of war team came first which saw them qualify for the South West Area finals, the trio of Emily, Freya and Lucy gained second prize in the cookery competition while there two other special prizes.

Phoebe Scott was awarded Stockman of the Year while Luke Bradley won first prize for his grass clamped silage.

Thanks were expressed by the club to the organisers of the day and for all those who competed in the various competitions.
