A new shelter dedicated to the memory of former Trekenner Primary School pupil, Jordan Crayton, was opened recently by parents, Rob and Anita Crayton. The space is to be used as an outdoor learning area for pupils at the school.
The school community dedicated it to the memory of Jordan who passed away earlier this year at the age of 16 following a brave battle with cancer.
The school worked closely with parents Rob, Anita, brother Bradley and sister Jasmine to produce a plaque inspired by Jordan's life, and named the shelter ' Jordan's Chill-out Corner'.
The chosen design was created by Trekenner pupil, James Heale, whose grandfather, John DeBarr, collaborated with Rob Crayton to complete the plaque.
