The results for Holsworthy Town Council’s Coronation themed ‘Best Dressed Competition’ are in.

It was a difficult decision however, with the help of guest judge, photographer Rodney, the following winners were announced: 1st place, Floral Design; 2nd place, HBH Woolacotts; joint 3rd place, The Card Kabin and The Hospice Shop; highly commended, Deer Park and Holsworthy Emporium.

The Mayor of Holsworthy Cllr Helen Parker said: “Thank you to everyone that took part, we enjoyed looking at all your displays.”

Following the town’s celebrations the mayor added: “As Mayor of Holsworthy I would, on behalf of the Town Council like to thank all the volunteers that made the coronation celebrations in the Town so successful.

“We had volunteers from pre-school age to older generations, who all pulled together in a wonderful display of community partnership.

“Holsworthy is proud of you all!”
