FATHER and son Mark and Lewis Baker were named 'player's player' and 'soloist of the year' respectively by Camelford Town Band.
The band trophies were awarded after the band's Christmas lunch and through the year father and son have featured in many arrangements of music.
Aaron Kent, a young and promising percussionist was awarded the 'bandsman of the year', the tenor horns won best section, with Michael Moore receiving 'most improved player'.
Among other engagements for the band during the busy season was the Camelford lights switch on at the start of December, with fireworks, street stalls and carols.
The band also visited churches in all parishes for traditional carol services, entertained shoppers in the foyer of Bodmin Morrisons and teamed up with the Camelford Scouts and the youth group of Souls Harbour Church for carols and a quaint nativity around the town's Christmas tree.
