WITH the Easter bank holiday fast approaching, Torridge District Council is reminding residents that there will be some changes to their usual waste and recycling collection days.
All refuse and recycling collections normally due on Friday April 18 (Black Bag, Recycling, Garden Waste) will be collected one day later on Saturday, April 19.
Collections for the week commencing Monday, April 21 will also be one day later than usual for the whole week.
The normal collection schedule will resume from the week starting Monday, April 28. For further information on collection dates and times, please visit our website at: torridge.gov.uk/wasteandrecycling
Richard Haste, Operational Services Manager, Torridge District Council, said: "Easter eggs and other gifts typically generate more waste, so it is important that we keep on recycling throughout the bank holiday weekend. Please check the council's website and social media for more information. Thank you for recycling and supporting the service. I hope that everyone has a great Easter and enjoys the bank holiday weekend!"
