Three men from a Cornish window business are taking on the coast path to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
From March 24 to 27, storeman Giles Wright, managing director Mat Jones and surveyor Sam Julian from Camel Glass & Joinery are walking 100 miles for CHSW while carrying a PVC window frame.
The coastal path route starts from Camel’s Barnstaple branch to the head office in Wadebridge, with the goal to raise money for their local children’s hospice, Little Harbour.
Mat Jones said: “It’s all about getting greater exposure for the charity, so more people regionally and locally understand the fantastic work that they do.
“It really is an invaluable charity, they do so much for the children and families they work with and it’s about getting that message out there to the masses.”
Alice Merret, from CHSW, added: “We are so grateful to the Camel team for raising this all-important awareness and money for Little Harbour.
“We really couldn’t do what we do without support from local businesses like this, and from all of us at CHSW we wish them the best of luck on their challenge.”
