Could I, once again, take this opportunity to thank all those organisations in Ross and across Herefordshire who hosted our Year 10 students for their recent work-experience week.

Preparation for the world of work is vitally important to young people. It allows them a valuable insight into possible future employment opportunities and real-life awareness of the knowledge, skills and qualifications they may need.

The feedback from students and employers has been universally positive.  Our students were, as ever, superb ambassadors for the school.

The involvement and support of the local community has and continues to be of pivotal importance in the development and on-going improvement of the school in terms of the provision we are able to offer the young people of the town.  We are ever grateful.
