TESCO Launceston organised a fete on Saturday, July 28 with proceeds going to its charities.
Sadly the summer decided to take a break, which meant a difficult decision had to be made as to whether to cancel or not!
They decided to press ahead, although for safety reasons the bouncy castle had to be cancelled due to the high winds forecast.
Local craft stalls were accommodated in the store where possible and the barbecue was very popular.
£300 was made on the day to be split between St Luke’s Hospice, Cancer Research UK, Diabetes UK and British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Thanks were expressed to everyone who came along to support the day.
