The 4th Tenby Guides have been busy this year raising funds for the Harriet Davis Trust £21,000 appeal. Their latest enterprise was a sponsored walk, raising a fantastic £136, from the trust's Wheelabout property at the top of Strawberry Lane in Penally to Harriet's House on Tenby Harbour.
The Guides were shown around The Wheelabout by the trust's development manager, Elizabeth Sleight, and met Suzie Williams from Caerphilly, who was holidaying at the house with her parents and carers.
After walking through Penally, the girls called in at Giltar View, the trust's other Tenby property, to meet Wayne Cooper (16) from Merthyr Tydfil and then on to Tenby Harbour for a well-earned rest outside Harriet's House.
Elizabeth Sleight said: "We have had a lot of support from Tenby Guides this year, they have been brilliant. It was so nice for them to meet some of our guests and to be able to see our properties and we are so grateful to them for all their help."
