Inspired by the Keep Wales Tidy #Coastcare campaign, Tenby Coastguard Cliff Rescue Team carried out a rubbish clean on the cliffs above the resort's beaches on Monday evening.

The team is made up of volunteers who specialise in cliff rescue, search and water rescue in all weathers and at all times.

They train regularly to maintain these skills, and as part of this training, decided to clean up the rubbish that accumulates on the cliffs above the beaches to help maintain Tenby's beauty for visitors and locals alike.

The team spent a few hours in several locations above South Beach, Tenby, and recovered three refuse sacks of rubbish and fast food wrappers, as well as other items such as dog toys, china plates and children's clothing, from these inaccessible locations.
