SWIMMERS made a splash by chalking up an incredible 3,000 lengths of the pool at Petersfield's Taro Leisure Centre to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The occasion was the annual swimathon at the Penns Place leisure facility when 31 swimmers of all ages took to the water to show they cared.
The youngest swimmer on the day, a boy aged seven, powered his way to an impressive 60 lengths while five swimmers achieved total distances of five kilometres by each swimming 200 lengths.
Many families also took part in the weekend of fundraising for the worthy cause.
