PROPOSALS for a new "Surrey Village" were unveiled last week to help meet Waverley's borough-wide challenge to build 8500 new homes in the next 16 years.

More than 170 people attended the exhibition at Cranleigh Arts Centre last Wednesday, to view outline plans for a settlement of 1,800 new homes at

Dunsfold Park, and provide feedback.
