Saturday, June 27, was a bright sunny afternoon for the strawberry tea held in aid of St. Andrew's Church, Narberth, at the home of Mrs. Enid Jones.
The garden was at its best, with flowers and shrubs all in bloom, and over 100 visitors enjoyed a strawberry cream tea with home-baked scones by members of the church and fresh strawberries.
There was also a variety of stalls - cakes, plants, tombola - and a raffle with numerous excellent prizes, drawn by Rev. Graham Lloyd, interim priest.
A very pleasant and happy afternoon was enjoyed by all, raising in excess of £1,000 for church funds.
Many thanks go to all the members of the church who worked hard to provide the teas, who ran the stalls and generously produced items for sale and prizes and thanks, of course, to Enid for welcoming everyone into her beautiful garden.
