A LAUNCESTON girl has been invited by the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain to take part in this year's easter course at Taunton.
Josie Whale, 14-years-old, who plays the tenor horn, is now a member of the National Youth Brass Band (NYBB), as well as her local club.
The NYBB was founded in 1952 by Dr Denis Wright OBE and exists to "give exceptionally gifted young brass instrumentalists the opportunity to perform advanced music and receive the highest quality teaching".
Josie will attend the Easter course at Taunton School from Saturday (March 30) to Saturday, April 6. This course will celebrate 61 years of the NYBB of Great Britain.
