A CERTIFICATE for Lawfulness for a proposed installation of solar panels at Stratton Gardens, Cot Hill, Stratton has been refused by Cornwall Council.
Mr Richard Grant had applied for the certificate for lawfulness for the above property.
Cornwall Council refused the request, saying that the proposed works do not fall under the limitation of Class J, Part 14 of Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended) as they are located on a Grade II listed building. Therefore, planning permission is required for the development and thus, the lawful development certificate cannot be issued.
