If you arrive at Stepaside Community Playgroup this week you may think you have taken a wrong turn and arrived at Amroth.
One corner of the classroom has been transformed in to an indoor beach with deckchairs, sand and even an ice-cream parlour.
Mrs. Louise Waters and her dedicated team of staff are committed to helping the children who attend Stepaside Community Playgroup learn through imaginative and stimulating play.
Each week is planned to cover areas of learning that will help the children to adapt to nursery class as they move on. There is a focus on creative play and the facilities at the setting provide excellent opportunities for this. The children have a large indoor room, extensive soft play outside and a large garden area.
Stepaside Community Playgroup is based at Stepaside CP School.
It is staffed everyday by leader Mrs. Louise Waters and she is assisted by qualified staff in running the group.
Playgroup is for two-and-a-half-year-olds and is open every afternoon from 12 pm to 3 pm. Sessions cost £6 and can be paid weekly at the setting, we are also set-up for payment through the Kiddivoucher scheme. We are holding an open afternoon on Tuesday, July 14, at 2 pm, where you will be able to meet the staff and have a look around our well-equipped nursery. Our local health visitor will be available to give help and advice on issue such as diet and potty training.
