THE CHILDREN at St Teath Pre-School enjoyed some special activities as part of their recent Child Safety Week.

On Tuesday, June 22 they were visited by local Police Community Support Officer, Terry Groves, who showed them the police van – even letting them set off the sirens! The children spent the morning making their own fingerprints with paint.

Work at Treroosal Building Site stopped briefly on Thursday morning as the pupils paid a visit to see how they are getting on with building the new houses and what safety precautions they take.

The children had a great time looking at the diggers, dumper trucks and swing shovels, and then wondered if they could live in the finished houses when they're older.
