IT was a perfect end to a perfect week for the village of St Teath as they held their carnival week.

There was a busy schedule of events, accompanied by sunshine — something which brought added joy to the events, in the words of a committee carnival member.

With a lot of events taking place on the village green, there was plenty to keep young and old entertained through the week. A packed out marquee for the well attended quiz evening was reportedly the most the carnival committee had ever seen, highlighting the success of the year’s events.

Other events included a dog show, which despite the hot weather was very well supported, and a three-legged race held around the village on the Friday.

Together, it all added up to a great week of fun for the villagers and surrounding area of St Teath.
