CHILDREN and staff at St Breward Primary School have been celebrating their 'outstanding' Ofsted report.

The inspection report, published on May 3, was the school's first report since the last one in December 2007. It has received the highest grade 'outstanding' — which is awarded to less than nine per cent of primary schools.

Headteacher Lee Bacchus is thrilled with the news. He commented: "The whole school is delighted that the hard work that has been put into school improvement since the last inspection has been recognised in the report."
